Corn Chowder


Corn Chowder


Ingredients:-

  •  Onion - 1/2 chopped

  •  Pepper pwr - 1 tsp

  •  Butter - 2 tsp

  •  Potato - 1 diced

  •  Water - 1 1/2 cup

  •  Corn - 1 ear

  •  Milk - 1/2 cup

  •  Corn flour - 1/ 2 tsp

  •  Olive oil - 1 tsp

  •  Salt to taste

Preparation:-

 1. Seperate the Corn Kernels from the ear.

 2.  For preparing the stock, use the left over portion of the ear, boil it in water along with corn flour powder.

 3. Heat oil and Butter in a skillet, saute onion until it is translucent.

 4. Add Potatoes and Corn Kernels and cook for a min..

 5. Pour the stock prepared as discussed above, you must filter the stock before adding to the skillet.

 6. Simmer the contents until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 mins.

 7. Add the milk and cook till bubbles comes out. Don't let it boil after adding milk.

 Season to taste with salt and pepper.
