Potato saag
Potato Saag
Ingredients:-
• Potatoes - 3 nos
• Onion (sliced) - 1 no
• Tomato (chopped) - 1 no
• Green chillies (chopped) - 3 nos
• Garlic pods (chopped) - 3 nos
• Chana dal - 2 tbsp ( optional )
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
• Dry chillies - 2 nos
• Coriander leaves - few
• Salt to taste
• Water - 1/2 cup
• Oil - 2 tsp
Preparation:-
1. Take a pressure cooker and add potatoes, onion, tomato, green chillies, garlic, turmeric powder, chana dal , salt and water.
2. Cook, till the first whistle comes or till the potatoes are cooked.
3. Heat oil in a kadai or a pan. Splutter the mustard seeds and add dry chillies and curry leaves.
4. Add the cooked potato mixture into it and boil for 3 min. Simple potato curry is ready.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with pooris or chapatis.
