Cauliflower curry


Cauliflower curry



Ingredients :-

 • Cauliflower florets - 2 cups

 • Onion - 1/2

 • Mustard seeds - 1/2  tsp

 • Urad dal - 1 tsp

 • Curry leaves - 1 sprig

 •  Dry red chilli - 2

 • Salt to taste

 • Oil - 1 tsp

To grind into a coarse paste

 • Shallots  - 4  to 6

 • Grated coconut - 1/2  cup

 •  Tomato - 1

 • Masala powder - 1 tsp

 • Green chilli - 4 or 5

 • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

 • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp

 •  Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Preparation :-

  1. Wash the cauliflower florets and put it in hot water with a pinch turmeric pwr , salt & set it aside for 10 minutes.

  2. Grind all the ingredients listed above into a coarse paste.

  3.  In a skillet, heat oil & add mustard seeds, urad dal, dry chilli  and curry leaves.

  4. When it  starts spluttering, add chopped onion and saute until it turns translucent.

  5. Add the cauliflower florets along with some salt & saute for a minute.

  6. Then add the paste & stir well.

  7. Add a cup of water, close the skillet with a lid & cook for about 10 minutes

  8. Adjust salt & serve hot with rice or chapati
