Sweet & Sour Sandwich


Sweet & Sour Sandwich

Ingredients:-

Wheat bread - 2 or more ( corners removed )

Strawberry jam - 2 tsp for each bread

Mint chutney - 2 tsp for each bread

Spread mint chutney and jam  over each bread.


Place each ,on top of the other and roll it using a baking paper or aluminum foil. Set it for 2 minutes and remove the cover.



Cut the sandwich into 2 and have it .... Its tastes really good,  mint taste and sweet taste of jam....  :)

Gobi manchurian

Ingredients:-

Cauliflower - 1 cup

Egg - 1

Corn flour - 1 1/2 tbsp

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

For sauce

Onion- 1

Ginger - a small piece

Garlic - 3 cloves

Tomato sauce - 2 1/2 tbsp

Chilli sauce - 1 1/2 tsp

Soy sauce - 1 tbsp

Spring onion - 1/2 cup

Coriander leaves - few ( optional

Salt - a pinch




Preparation:-

1. In a bowl, mix together egg, corn flour, GG paste, chilli powder and salt. Make a light thick paste.



2. Marinate cauliflower and set it aside for 1/2 to 1 hr.


3. Heat oil in a wok and shallow fry gobi till it changes the colour. After that, take it and filter the excess oil by spreading it on the tissue paper.

4. For making sauce, heat oil in a pan ,add chopped ginger,saute it for few seconds,then add onions.

5. When onion becomes translucent,add  all sauces and mix well. Adjust salt to taste. Cook it for 2 minutes. Stir continuously.


6. Add gobi to the sauce and saute well. Sprinkle chopped spring onion and cook it for 3 minutes and turn off heat.



Gobi Machurian is ready to serve... Serve it hot..   Enjoy...  :)

Ingredients:-

• Dosa batter - 3 cup

• Onion - 1 ( sliced )

• Carrot - 2 ( grated)

• Capsicum - 1/2 ( sliced)

• Cabbage - 1/2 cup ( shredded)

• Spring onion - 1 tbsp ( as required)

• Soy sauce - 1 1/2 tsp

• Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp

• Tomato sauce - 1 1/2 tsp for each dosa ( optional)

• Salt to taste

• Oil - 1 tbsp +


Preparation:-



For filling

1. Heat oil in a wok, add onions and saute till it becomes tranlucent.

2. Add other vegetables and toss well. Cook it for few minutes.



3. Add soy sauce, pepper powder and salt. Saute it for 2 minutes and switch off heat.



For spring dosa

1. Heat tawa, pour a ladlefull of batter and spread thinly into large circular shape.

2. Drizzle some oil at the edges of dosa. Place some filling in the middle and fold it from both sides.




                                                               or

If u want tomato sauce in your dosa , spread sauce over the dosa, then do the filling.






Spring dosa is ready ...Cut into 2 or 3 pieces and serve it hot immediately.

Ingredients:-                                                                                                                                                                     
        •   Meat balls  - 5 ( Cut each into halfs )

        •   Pizza sauce / Tomato sauce -  1/2 cup

        • Grated cheese -1/2 cup ( as required)
  • Onion - 1 ( chopped)
  • Capsicum ( red & green ) - 1/2 cup each
  • Olives - 10 to 12
  •  Jalapeno Slices - 6 to 8 pieces  



Preparation:-

  1. Take the pizza crust and paste sauce on the top.  Let it rest for 5 mnts, then sprinkle onions, capsicums, olives, jalapeno slices and meatballs. ( Dip each meatballs in tomato sauce, before placing it on the crust. )

Sprinkle some cheese on top of it.






 2. Finally sprinkle all  grated cheese on the top of it. 



 3. Preheat the oven at 350 F and bake the pizza for 18 to 25 mnts or untill pizza crust becomes light golden brown in colour.

Ingredients:-

• Spinach - a bunch

• Onion - 1 ( medium)

• Garlic - 3 cloves ( large)

• Celery - a small piece

• Bay leaves - 1 or 2

• Black peppercons - 10 to 12

• Milk - 1 cup ( low fat )

• Water - 2 cup

• Oil - 2 tsp

• White pepper powder - a pinch



Preparation:-

1. Wash and roughly chope the spinach.



2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and saute it for few seconds.

3. Add bay leaves, chopped onions, chopped celery and peppercons. Saute it continuously untill onion becomes tranlucent.



4. Add  spinach and salt. Mix well and cook it for 2 minutes.



5. Add water, stir to mix and cook until it comes to boil.



6. When it boils, remove the bay leaves and switch off heat and set it aside to cool.

7. When it cools, blend it till smooth.



8. Heat the pan again and add spinach paste and mix it with milk.



9. Stir continuously and bring it to boil. When it boils, sprinkle a pinch of white pepper powder and  switch off the heat.

 Spinach soup is now ready... Serve it hot ..Its  really delicious and Healthy... Enjoy   :)

Apricot Drink


Ingredients:-

• Dried apricot - 10

• Cashew nuts -1 tbsp ( chopped)

• Almonds - 1tbsp ( Sliced)

• Raisins - 10

• Sugar - 2 tbsp

• Cold water - 2 cup



Preparation:-

1. Wash the apricots and raisins and soak them in cold water for 1 hr.  ( Cut the apricots for better soaking )



2. After 1 hr, blend all the ingredients to a smooth drink. ( Use the soaked water for blending )



Apricot drink is now ready... Serve it chilled..  Almost all the ingredients in this drink  are rich source for iron... So  enjoy your healthy drink...  :)
